What should you do if you have not been fully vaccinated
As soon as you enter the UK, you must take a COVID-19 test on or before the second day. The day you arrive is considered day zero.

The rule for Travelling with Children
The requirements for travelling with children depend on their age and country of residence.
Children of all ages who are residents in the United Kingdom, or countries with approved proof of vaccination, do not have to be quarantined on arrival in England. This gives whether the child is vaccinated or not.
If they are between the age of 4 and under they do not have to take any COVID-19 travel tests.
Kids who are aged five to seventeen years may not need to take a COVID-19 test before travelling to the United Kingdom but must take a test on or before their day 2 (arrival day is considered day 0). Ensure you check the list of countries and territories with approved proof of vaccination.
Children who are aged five to seventeen who are resident in any country that is not on the approved evidence of vaccination list must:
- Carry out a COVID-19 test (if they are aged between eleven or above) before they travel to the UK.
- Carry out a COVID-19 test on or before their second day in the UK.
- Carry out a COVID-19 test on or after day the eighth day in the UK
- Isolate at home or in the place they’re staying for ten days, or the duration of their stay if it’s less
Ps: Children aged four or under from these other countries do not have to take travel tests but must follow quarantine rules. Test to release may be considered an option to reduce the quarantine period.
